Compost
Compost is organic matter that is put in a bin until it decays. Once it has decayed it is used as plant fertilizer. This is a good way to reuse materials and keep the garbage dumps less full. It also reduces the use of pesticides, fungicides and fertilizers, many of which can be harmful to the environment (and to the fish, animals and humans that live in it.)
